At Riverside Kitchen, we specialise in bespoke events tailored for your group. Whether you are hosting an intimate client dinner, a large canapé party, a team cooking competition, or something entirely your own, we work with you to create an experience that feels considered, personal, and worth talking about. Please note the price does not include drinks. All private events are charged on consumption by the bottle and invoiced after the occasion, unless you specifically request an eftpos bar where the attendees pay for their own beverages. Beverage packages are available upon request.
MASTERCHEF CHALLENGE

For teams who enjoy a little friendly rivalry. Guests are split into teams and given a recipe and ingredients to create a canapé for everyone to taste. Dishes are judged Masterchef-style, including a people’s choice category where guests vote for their favourite. When the competition wraps up, everyone will gather at the table for a two-course seasonal trust-the-chef lunch or dinner.
This experience is also available without the meal at $100 per guest.

COCKTAIL MAKING EXPERIENCE

A sociable, hands-on experience to kick off any occasion. Our mixologist demonstrates how to create two popular cocktails, then guests split into groups and give it a go themselves. Canapés are served as the cocktails are enjoyed. When the shakers are down, everyone moves to the table for a two-course trust-the-chef lunch or dinner.
This experience is also available without the meal at $100 per guest.

Two hours of continuous canapés in our light-filled space, opening out into the heart of Riverside Market. There is plenty of room to move, mingle, and mix as our chef prepares a generous range of canapés in the open kitchen. Relaxed, convivial, and effortless to host.

Some of the best evenings start in a kitchen. Gather your favourite people, choose a cuisine that excites you, and spend a few hours learning together under the guidance of our chef.
The evening begins with a chef’s demonstration before you roll up your sleeves and get hands on with the recipes yourself. When the cooking is done, everyone sits down together to enjoy everything you have made, with a few extras from the chef and a dessert to finish.

Catering can be added with options from full four-course dining to a delicate afternoon tea. We can provide everything you need.

Need a light-filled, elegant space in the heart of Riverside Market? Riverside Kitchen available to hire for product launches, food photography, filming, client entertaining, and more. Flexible setup options, generous natural light, and full use of all cooking equipment, crockery, and cutlery included. Additional staff including a duty manager or serving team can be arranged on request.
Full day hire runs from 8am to 4pm. Hourly hire is available from $150 per hour. A pot wash attendant is required for washing up at $30 per hour.
